With walls ranging from 20ft to a soaring 600ft in height, and difficulty grades suited for the very beginner climber to the most seasoned veteran, Smith Rock is truly a world class climbing destination. The climbs shown on this page are only a small sampling of Smith's most classic routes.
The classic Monkey Face is home to a variety of routes leading climbers to the features distinctive summit. The most popular of which is the Pioneer Route (5.7 A0). Another great option for the more experienced party is the West Face Variation. Whatever your preference, scaling the Monkey is a memorable experience every time.
This classic traditional route which climbs directly up the center on the morning glory wall, finishes on the astounding Zion for it's fourth and final pitch. Thoughtful yet secure movement high off the ground makes for an amazing climb worthy of it's namesake.
With fantastic positioning and very enjoyable climbing. Voyage is a must do for those climbing at the grade and who are not too afraid of heights!
One of Smith's best long and moderate crack climbs. Excellent rock with fun and interesting movement characterize this naturally protected climb nestled in the north end of the park.
